Good afternoon, dear friends!

In the line of our products, another replenishment. Our company signed a cooperation agreement with a well-known Taiwan company that produces gel traction batteries. The company is well known in the world market and its products have proved themselves on the best side. Due to the fact that we purchase batteries under our own brand, the retail price of them as a result is on the average 25-30% lower than the cost of these batteries under the manufacturer’s brand!

We for the first time went to such an unprecedented step when we offer our customers products not produced by our company. But in this way we can greatly facilitate the selection of the necessary equipment for our client and in the end he will be able to get everything without any problems from one source.

At the moment we want to introduce a 33 Ah (12 V) battery. This battery is suitable for all types of our anchor winches. It’s no problem enough for you all day active fishing.

Rechargeable batteries brand STRONGER, covered by warranty service or a full battery replacement or a refund of money within 2 years from the date of purchase of the battery, in case of proper (proper) operating conditions!

Below you can see the terms of this warranty.

CHARGING

– To charge the gel batteries, a charger must be used specifically for gel batteries, the threshold voltage of which does not exceed GEL 14.2-14.4V, AGM 14.4-14.8V, the amperage should be no more than 1 / 6A of the nominal battery power, those. the 100Ah battery should be charged by charging with a maximum current strength of not more than 16A, but only when using programmable chargers, which means that you can not use a 16A DC current from charging to the end of charging. If these values are exceeded, the gel electrolyte begins to liberally release gas, which is no longer absorbed in such volumes back).

– Obligatory recharging of the battery for six months, if it is not used. It is very important not to interrupt the charging process until it is over. If you break the charge, say, 60%, then the battery will not be able to gain its full capacity the next time – and even swapping charge-discharge cycles will not greatly improve the situation.

DISCHARGE

– the voltage of each of the battery cells should not fall below 1.8 V (ie the minimum voltage of a 12-volt battery should not fall below 10.5 – 10.8 V !!); Attention to the output of the threshold indication of green light on trolling motors, means that you have reached the maximum “deep” discharge of the battery, i.e. less than 10V. Immediately stop operation. Also, the battery after the discharge should be immediately charged. This is especially true of the battery, which was subjected to a “deep” discharge. If the battery is in a discharged state for a long period of time, then it is possible that it will be impossible to restore its full capacity completely.

The discharge by 100% (deep discharge) is the discharge of the battery to a voltage of 10.5 V, and not to zero Volts.

When the battery is discharged to a critical level, irreversible chemical processes occur inside and the battery capacity can be significantly reduced, so if the battery is discharged to 9V, we can say with confidence that 45-50% of the capacity is lost irrevocably. If the discharge of such a depth happens again, then the remainder of this capacity will be only 25-30% of the nominal. Therefore, even the best quality AGM / GEL battery can be completely destroyed by 4-5 deep discharges.

ATTENTION: BATTERY DISCHARGE MUST NOT EXCEED 1/3 RATED POWER!

STORAGE

Any lead-acid battery, regardless of its type, should be stored in a fully charged state at a temperature of -20 to +50 degrees (optimally at +20).

After a few months of storage, the voltage may decrease due to self-discharge. When the voltage drops below 12.6 volts, the lead plates become sulfated, which can lead to a decrease in the capacity of the battery.

When storing it is recommended to check the voltage of the battery every six months and not to allow the voltage drop below the level of 12.6 Volts, and when this level is reached, the battery should be recharged from the charger
