The STRONGER motorboat is our new project with the help of which we have the opportunity to monitor the quality and reliability of our products. Due to the fact that this year several new products appeared in our line, we decided to create a boat – the STRONGER laboratory. This project extended over time. And in fact, it was started in the month of February 2021, but the boat saw the water only a few days ago. We are grateful to the FurSeal company for the boat built specifically for our project, taking into account our wishes and modifications. We are grateful to the BARKAS Service Center company for the work done on tuning our motorboat and installing attachments. TESTS:
We carried out water tests on our motorboat. All equipment showed the results we expected. And many products even exceeded our expectations. We, together with our distributor Vikendra, have shot a number of videos about new products. The STRONGER motorboat showed its best side! In which we tried to tell and show as much as possible why these devices were actually invented and what benefits they can bring to their future owner. Now let’s actually move on to the devices themselves.
I WAS PLEASED WITH THE ECHO SOUNDER REGULATOR:
I was very pleased with the fish finder transducer regulator with the automatic version. The pictures on the echo sounder began to come to life regardless of the trim of the boat. Thanks to the automatic adjustment of the sensor to a horizontal position, we saw very clearly drawn objects on the screen.
All fish symbols in sonar mode were, as expected, with “closed” and correct arcs.
We realized that until this time we had been watching analog television on the echo sounder screen with all the interference and not entirely accurate information down to the depth of the reservoir. And yesterday it was real modern digital television. And our usual echo sounder really became completely different.
We think that whoever purchases this device in the future will also feel the difference and will no longer want to use a standard transducer mount without our automatic regulator. It is very convenient that the entire control process is carried out with just one key, which takes up virtually no space on the console of your boat. By clicking on it, you turn on the regulator.
OPERATION OF THE ECHO SOUNDER REGULATOR:
It will automatically lower down to the working position. At the same time, it will automatically calibrate and the echo sounder is ready for use. Finished fishing, or, for example, at a high-speed crossing, if you don’t need an echo sounder at the moment. Press the up key and the device will automatically move the echo sounder sensor to a position parallel to the transom of the boat. Thus, you remove the resistance of the sensor to the water. Our boat has another backup echo sounder with a rigidly mounted sensor on the transom of the boat. We started comparing the readings on the screens of both devices. And as it turned out, we did not see many objects, including fish symbols, on the backup echo sounder at all, or they were distorted to such a state that they looked more like garbage or grass.
SMOOTH OPERATION OF THE ECHO SOUNDER REGULATOR:
The depth on the screen of the echo sounder with the regulator changed smoothly, while on the screen of the backup echo sounder it simply jumped up and down, actually repeating the waves on the reservoir, and the difference in depth was almost 1.5 meters at a depth of 9 meters. That is, our hypothesis that the signal sent by the echo sounder sensor does not return accurately, but is subject to large distortions, was completely confirmed. https://strongermarine.com/regulyator-polozhenyya-transdyusera-eholota/
We really saw colossal changes in the operation of the echo sounder and everything fell into place. Clarity and truthfulness of information is exactly what we strived for. The regulator is a mega useful device that allows your echo sounder to live a completely different new life. The motorboat now controls the depth of the echo sounder sensor.
HYDRAULIC TRIM AND TESTING:

There is an opinion that the elevator is relevant when working with high-power motors of 200 horsepower and above. Our tests refuted this misconception. And so on for the test itself.
STRAT:
Start. The boat enters planing mode. The motorboat is on its way! Speed 36 km per hour. The tachometer shows 4500 rpm. We begin to raise the elevator stepwise using the control panel. Each step, when you briefly press the button on the panel, adds 1.8 cm, raising the motor up. The boat accelerates. We don’t touch the commander. As a result, at the 5th stage of the elevator we feel cavitation and a slight loss in speed.
We take one step back by pressing the key on the control panel. As a result, the speed increased from 36 to 43 km per hour. Engine speed from 4500 to 5100. We remember the favorite position on the control panel by pressing the M button for the next use. We reduce the gas with the commander to the previous 4500 rpm. And we understand that the gas has been removed decently. There is minimal splash behind the boat. Everything is to the point.
RESULT:
As a result, a distance of 48 km was covered. Of which 39 km is a high-speed section. When I got home I measured the fuel. Only 14 liters of gasoline were spent on a 40 Parsun engine!!!. Without using the elevator, 21 liters of fuel were spent over the same distance. Well, it’s up to you to decide whether you need a device or not… We really liked it. You could feel how easy the engine was.
In addition to significant fuel savings, thanks to the use of a lift, the motor has moved back from the transom of the boat, and now its lower part does not interfere with the side view of the echo sounder sensor. Further, approaches to the shore along shallows and passages of areas with low water, thanks to the ability to raise the engine to the very top, became problem-free. Really useful device. This device caused a certain delight in all of us.
We have already mentioned that our boat has a backup echo sounder installed. It is attached to the vertical adjuster of the fish finder transducer.
We only use it as a backup echo sounder. But even in this case, a significant benefit from this device is that the sensor, if the echo sounder is not activated, rises to the very top along the transom of the boat and in no way slows down the boat while moving. Well, accordingly, there is no chance of it breaking on the surface debris of a reservoir. But when you need, for example, to remove air from it, then lifting the sensor up can quickly solve this problem.
MOTORBOAT. WE WERE PLEASED WITH THE TRANSOM PLATES:
I was very pleased with the transom plates. The motorboat gained the necessary lifting force and quick access to the glider. Now getting the boat on the glider has become simple without unnecessary energy consumption. All you need to do is press both plate control keys down. And then press the foot of the motor and start. The boat immediately sets course. After the start, you press both buttons up again and the plates smoothly rise automatically up. It would seem that such insignificant details as the boat entering planing mode are so energy-consuming.
But it is precisely at such starts that we experience significant excess fuel consumption. Then, if you have a trim on one side of the boat, you slightly lower the plate on the side where you have a larger trim in this case. Until the boat is level. Then move the key of this plate to the neutral position and continue moving the boat. A motorboat without it is like a fisherman without a hand! There were people who wanted to buy it right on the water.) This is a very useful thing for those who engage in trolling fishing, as well as for the search mode. Thanks to our own control board, the electric motor is very economical. Depending on the boat, on a 100 Amp battery, you can fish for up to 2 days without any problems. THE DIRECTION OF OPERATION OF THE ELECTRIC MOTOR IS IMPORTANT
An important aspect is the fact that its work is always directed in a stable horizontal direction. Let’s say an electric motor installed on the bow of a boat is subject to constant changes in the direction of the boat’s movement caused by the oscillation of the bow on the waves. As a result, more than half of the energy is wasted. As a result, there is no clear horizontal position of the motor. In the case of placing an electric motor at the stern of the boat, or rather on the motor itself, as in our case. The motor is the most stable location on the entire boat as it is least susceptible to rocking on the water. WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT TO HAVE AN ELECTRIC MOTOR FOR TROLLING FISHING?
Many of you have noticed that trolling with motors of 40 horsepower and above is a real problem, since the minimum speed of the boat at idle is much higher than the speed required for this type of fishing. Therefore, the use of an electric motor in our case, when the main motor is 40 or more horsepower, has no alternative.
